Do you blend soy or paraffin in your beeswax candles?
No, all of our beeswax candles start with 100% pure organic beeswax.  We do not mix soy or paraffin wax with our beeswax.

How much wax is in the jar candles?
There is approximately 8 ounces of wax in our jar candles.  This amount of wax will burn between 30 and 40 hours if you keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" before each burn and in a low draft area.  Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time.  We double pour our jar candles to ensure that there are no air pockets.

What is used to scent and dye our candles?
We use fragrance oils and most are infused with natural essential oils.  All of the scents that we use are non-toxic and do not contain phthalates (a carcinogen).  We use only 6% fragrance, which is plenty.  For the dyes we use wax dye blocks which has non-toxic pigments.  The rest of the candle is 100% pure beeswax.

Where does the beeswax used in your candles come from?
The beeswax that we use in all of our candles comes from beehives in New York state.  The beeswax is very high quality and has a subtle honey aroma.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We will ship internationally via the United States Postal Service.

What size taper candles do you offer?
We currently have 6" and 10" length tapers. We may offer other sizes in the future. Come back often to check our latest offerings.

How long do your taper candles burn?
Beeswax burns much slower than paraffin and soy.  All of our beeswax taper candles burn approximately 1 inch per hour. They are also virtually dripless while burning and does not produce smoke.  Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" before each burn and in a low draft area.

My candle has a white film over it.  Is this normal?
Yes.  Over time beeswax will develop a white colored film called "bloom".  This is normal and can be removed simply by wiping with a soft cloth.  This is a sign of quality beeswax.

Do you have a physical storefront?
We do have our products for sale in a gift shop located at 1 Main Street in Hubbardston called Hub of the Hubb.  We currently sell on this website, Amazon, eBay and Etsy.

Do you offer customized candles?
Yes, we will consider customizations (e.g. unscented colored candles).  Simply go to the "Contact Us" page and submit your request and we will evaluate the request and respond shortly.

Do you sell in bulk quantities?
Yes, we will take large quantity orders (e.g. wedding favors, employee gifts).  Based on the amount requested there may be a lead time needed to make the product.
